great location close to Central Park and museums. The room had a comfortable bed, nice shower, and mini fridge. I loved the free breakfast vouchers for delicious pastries and coffee next door. The fitness center was a plus too! Staff was super helpful with recommendations for things to do around town.

Charming Historic Ambiance with a Few Hiccups
Enjoyed the vintage charm and spacious lobby for relaxing. The coffee shop served delightful pastries. Best to ask for a room away from the elevator for better peace at night and try to secure a fridge in advance to avoid extra fees.

I enjoyed the bakery connected to the hotel where the pastries were just excellent and the staff made sure to make the most of our breakfast voucher. The room we had was clean and spacious enough for my whole family, exactly what we needed after a day out.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still reasonable for what we got.

I had a lovely time trying out the hot tub and relaxing by the cozy fireplace in the lounge. The gym was well-equipped, which helped balance my vacation indulgence! The only downside was the bakery line was a bit long in the mornings, but it's worth the wait for those delicious pastries. 😊

We had a double queen bed room that was newly renovated. The shower was excellent, felt like high-end stuff which I never expected from this place. The beds were very comfy, my son practically jumped on it when we arrived.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but frankly, it was acceptable for what we got.

missingWrote a review on Jul 25fantastic locationcharming decoreasy accesstiny room
Excellent location near Central Park with convenient access to subway stations makes exploring the area a breeze. The charming vintage decor adds a touch of character beyond the standard hotel fare, creating a welcoming atmosphere that's hard to find.
Room size felt cramped, even for Manhattan, lacking adequate storage with only a few hooks on the wall. Our window overlooked a brick wall, resulting in almost no natural light. a serious drawback. There's no dedicated lobby space or communal areas for guests to unwind, which is noticeable given the limited room sizes. The two small elevators can only carry two people at a time, making it a struggle during busy hours. Breakfast requires navigating a busy local bakery, leading to long queues before 10 am and limited seating options inside, often forcing guests to take their meals back to rooms that can barely accommodate a small table.
Tourists from United States often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
